❤️ Beautiful vintage 18" Vogue Baby Dear ... simply stunning!
The most popular and lovable 1960s doll ever -- 18” Vogue Baby Dear doll, first issued in 1961, designed by Eloise Wilkins, and stamped appropriately on the back of her right leg.
You will find that she has had a singular restoration to her hair... someone has rerooted her hair with the prettiest shade of reddish blonde color... and gave her quite a head of soft, silky, shiney long hair... LOVES to be brushed and styled. It's amazing!
Baby Dear herself has her original body 🤗 and unrestored body is excellent clean condition with only light marks on her upper right back where her nonw non-working rubber squeaker has hardened and left its mark (still inside). She has her original stuffing 🤗 NO marks or stains on head or body
Gorgeous healthy glow to her lovely face; her limbs are beautiful as the day she was 'born.' She has a sweet baby smell. If you have ever tried to photograph and ‘capture’ the true color of a Baby Dear’s hair, you know it depends on the lighting and angle; this baby has hair and my photos do a great job of showing you just how gorgeous it is.
Baby is still chubby and sassy with original body and stuffing -- like the day she was 'born'. She has just enough 'drape' for posing and softness for snuggling -- the Baby Dear dolls are the only ones that I have ever had that I am totally tempted to take a nap with and hug!
Baby Dear is dressed in a wonderful copy of her original and popular Toy Time Topper set -- top, bloomers and an added matching bonnet. Brand new, expertly tailored set by MAL.
She also comes with a 2-pc pair of MAL pajamas with a special ruffle across the bottoms at the waist. These are my favorite ones of all the fine ones Mal has made... fortunately I have 2 pairs so I will keep one set for myself :-)
