Near Mint without box -- Vintage 1960s Vogue Baby Dear Baby Doll
This is the 12" version of the 'newly redesigned' issue that was initially produced in 1965 through the end of the 1960s.
History note~ the FIRST redesigned Vogue Baby Dear doll was made in 1964, but had a completely different mold head and was only produced one year before being redesigned once again the following year to the same 'classic' face/mold you see here.
Baby Dear is excellent -- She is dressed in her original factory dress with replaced pantaloons and socks. Lovely nylon organdy dress with attached slip, and classic Vogue star dot snaps closure at the back.
She has rarely if ever been played with and I find no flaws. The vinyl is the later issue made of the harder molded vinyl. Her eyes open and close and have soft brush lashes. Her soft, full rooted blonde hair is shiny and in its original set. I did add the sweet little pink bow to add to her party dress.
I will add a reproduction copy of her original Hang Tag (not pictured).
She is the PERFECT ADDITION to your 1960s doll nursery and would love to join any Baby Dear doll collection.
