Adorable is the word that comes to mind to accurately describe this sweet little girl.
Made by Uneeda Doll company in 1962 she is a big girl at about 25". Although I cannot say she is all original, she certainly is an anomaly amongst her peers. After considerable research, I have not been able to find what name she was manufactured under, and although I was able to find this particular mold doll in this size, which apparently is a rarity... I am quite certain her beautiful dark brown hair was added to her molded head. Nonetheless, it is wildly appealing, and somehow I have left out a photo of the back of her head, but will add shortly. Back of head is marked Uneeda 1962.
She comes dressed in new old-store-stock dress, and matching coat and bonnet -- all in a lovely shade of baby pink with lace trim. Underneath is a cotton undershirt and bloomers. She loves her patent leather shoes and pink socks!
Baby is in MINT condition. Immaculately clean, and poses so nicely. She has the "pointing finger' on her right hand that was so popular an attribute in the early 1960s on these cloth and vinyl dolls.
This darling girl would love to come home for the holidays and settle in your own dolly nursery.
