Sweet little baby is in excellent clean condition. Her vinyl limbs are free of marks or stains and even in color -- beautiful signature chubby pink limbs. Her plump cloth body has its original stuffing and music box. She is soft and plump and her body is free of stains or marks. She is nice and firm and her music box does function. She has the Vogue Dolls Inc cloth tag on the nape of her neck.
 
ALL ORIGINAL DOLL... music box is original and has not been restored other than a new key to replace the one that was missing. All Baby Dear dolls are adorable and need love... but this little one does have a 'special gift' ... she is the super rare and very special MUSICAL VERSION of the Baby Dear. That means she has a little music box inside along with a shaft that extends into her head that allows melodic tones to play a tune when wound, AND for her head  to 'move' (like the Thumbelina dolls made by Ideal). The music box works GREAT, and the movement  as well but slowly!
 
She has a beautiful face with all painted features intact. I did add a smidgeon of blush to her cheeks, but I will remove it if buyer so desires... I like a little 'Life' in my babies.
 
Her hair is a lovely shade of very blonde. This was the hardest part to capture in photographing her today, as it depends on the lighting as to the shade, but "in hand" it is a beautiful bright blonde. It is thick and full and brushes nicely with 99% plugs intact.I have included many photos of her in different lighting to give you a clearer idea of her features. Back of her neck has the Vogue tag, of course.
 
Baby Dear comes in her ORIGINAL Vogue drawstring nightie in excellent condition. Elastic still springy at the neckline and features the classic Vogue star dot snap closure.
