This is a GORGEOUS Baby! These dolls were made by Ideal Toy Co and marketed under the name "Baby Beautiful". They came in a wide range of sizes as well as with blue eyes, or brown eyes; as they were marketed by some large retailers like Montgomery Ward and Sears, some of the dolls were marked Ideal and some were not, as this one is not. Baby Beautiful is GORGEOUS in her equally gorgeous ORIGINAL pale green cotton organdy dress, with replaced white slip; and a lovely pair of knit booties. I have added a beautiful baby pink silk coat and matching silk bonnet.
Baby herself has been completely restored to her original factory beauty. Lovely BLUE eyes open and close perfectly. Her body is strong and intact showing her age with a light patina to the body fabric; I have put her in a lovely 'second skin' in a pretty fleshtone that makes her feel extra special.
These dolls are very hard to find in this condition in any size... and this is the last one in this size I will have for quite sometime to come.
