Vintage 1930s Effanbee Patsy composition doll in her original trunk with huge all original layette.
 
I have never seen anything like this set... essentially everything included is in MINT CONDITION along with a PRE-PATENT mint condition doll.
 
INCLUDES her EXTREMELY RARE Effanbee Golden Heart metal wrist bracelet simply states "EFFANBEE PATSY"... I don't think I have ever seen one like this before.
 
Patsy has not been restored in any way. She has NO crazing. Smooth high color composition. Early painted side-glancing eyes. Pre-Patent marking on her back. An amazing piece of history. As perfect as could be -- she is highly photogenic and I could not stop photographing her in her extensive wardrobe... she looks fabulous in everything you put on her!
 
All her outfits are original, early and some very specialty shop clothes by Glad Togs. The Glad Togs green wool felt coat set has adorable floral celluloid buttons in addition to its colorful appliques. Her raincoat and hat are in mint condition... so often these hard to find sets, which are made of oilcloth, are cracked, stiff and wrinked. The blue silk pajamas are lovely with none of often found weakness to the fabric, or holes... Sweet Dreams, Patsy! There is a white flannel robe included (not shown in photos... just too many to choose from for this listing) to keep her warm when needed. Her yellow travel ensemble is made of smooth cotton twill, and creamy white Viyella (cotton and wool blend); two hats are included. Her classic blue-and-white playsuit with attached bloomers is bright and crisp and perfect for a hot Summer's day. I love her blue print romper, especially paired with her adorable dark berry hued wool sweater. Includes, too, a mint condition Glad Togs cherry red bathing suit. Most unique is her gorgeous organdy dress... to die for, as they say.
 
NOTE: PATSY is wearing her REAL LEATHER shoes in a lovely caramel color brown... once again, dating her to the earliest Patsy years of production.
 
If you collect Patsy family dolls you will understand how unique and special this set is.
 
The trunk comes with a clothes tray, and storage for Patsy (would you dare?!) underneath.
