Wonderful vintage 1930s Effanbee Skippy doll.
 
This classic all-composition Skippy with the 'Patsy' body has been fully restored by Mark Hartley sometime ago. His work is beyond amazing! No flaws in this guy and so fun to dress and pose.
 
Several outfits come with this young fella'
 
Includes his Effanbee original RARE RARE 'Fancy Boy' shortall outfit, complete. This outfit is extremely rare and in great condition. Includes the pin-tucked white organdy blouse, and linen red shorts, finished with a polka-dot string tie. The blouse has a hole in the fabric at the back, and the shorts have a mark on the back near the waist. What a Mama's Boy!!
 
Next, is his original white sailor outfit with a GLAD TOGS tag inside the shirt. Includes shirt, pants, scarf (2 -- one red and one yellow... not sure about the red one but it comes home with him), and his sailor hat. I noticed the shirt is missing a button in the back and I will add a nice matching one before sending him off to you.
 
He also has his original onesie style bathing suit for summer beach fun~
 
There is a mama-made light wool suit for dressy occasions. Made of black wool pants with matching jacket, and a 'faux' dress shirt that snaps around his neck to stay in place. The pants seem not to have been finished at the waist so I have pinned them to stay up :-)
 
AND LAST BUT SURELY NOT LEAST... these outfits came with this MERRY CHRISTMAS pin and it is coming home with this fella'
 
All these outfits came in a HUGE Skippy collection I acquired a few years ago. I had sold most of the dolls and trunks and clothing, but these remained and are the end of the 'stash'.
