Rare and beautiful 1928 Horsman 15" Baby Dimples doll with a composition flange head, partial composition limbs on a cloth body, and cloth stuffed legs. This is the earliest and smallest Baby Dimples that has the painted eyes, where the later issue were sleep eyes.

Sweet baby with molded blonde hair, blue painted eyes, and open-closed mouth. The body and legs are cloth with composition arms. NO crazing, beautiful IMMACULATELY CLEAN doll.
 
Baby wears her ORIGINAL outfit, right down to her oilcloth shoes, that had apparently never been removed from her in over 90 years. However, the outfit was overall soiled and dingy. Some prefer to leave a doll's clothing this way, but the dust patina leads to dry rot to the fabric. I have chosen to restore the garments to their original clean condition. The outfit is crisp and just about as nice as the day she was 'born'.  She retains her EXTREMELY RARE "Dimples" tag pinned at the bodice front. Additionally, her HORSMAN cloth tag is sewn in the neck seam at the back. AMAZING!
 
Dimples has her original high color complexion, with twinkling blue eyes. Her blonde hair is flawless. All painted facial features are intact... sweet smile shows she is a HAPPY baby!
