RARE Pre-Patent 1930s Effanbee Patsy African American Doll

Rarely, rarely do you find these lovely dark brown Patsy dolls, and when you do they are either heavily crazed, cracked and/or peeling... or even completely restored. There are some restored Patsy dolls that have come up for sale in the recent past, BUT I have never seen a restored one that captures and matches the qualities of the brush strokes reflected in the face of an original Effanbee African American doll -- and this Patsy HAS IT ALL.
 
Standing just 13" tall, she is flawless and wears a TAGGED early Effanbee PRE-PATENT dress set -- dress. onesie undergarment, and sunbonnet. This set is super rare in itself as I don't believe this set has been documented previously. It did not come originally on this doll, but instead on her caucasian pre-patent counterpart from the same production year. Unfortunately, the doll was not in good shape, and I found it a PERFECT match in color and style to really highlight this young lady's coloring as well as her personality.
 
The dress set is in MINT condition; however I did replace the stretched elastic around the legs on her onesie garment... perfect job if I do say so myself!.
