Darling vintage 1950s Baby Kathy doll by Madame Alexander with HUGE original wardrobe.
 
Sweet as can be, Kathy was issued to compete with American Character Tiny Tears and Ideal Betsy Wetsy dolls, and the like. She is all vinyl with open/close sleep eyes and is a drink-and-wet baby.
 
Includes her nursing bottle and hang tag
 
She comes with her huge all original wardrobe:
Salmon pink gingham romper

White organdy party dress w/slip and bonnet
Pink polka dot puffy shorts
White terry short robe
Pink snow suit and bonnet (actually not 100% sure this is original hers, but it came with her so I am including it)

Baby herself is in mint, unplayed with condition with just a small dot of paint rub on her dark brown molded curls. Her vinyl is clean and there are no stains or discolorations.
 
Her gingham two piece outfit -- dress and sunsuit/romper -- are in mint, unplayed with condition with a crisp tag sewn to the seam on the inside of the dress. Adorable and VERY RARE outfit.
 
She has her tagged white organdy dress with original slip and bonnet. These items show a fair amount of playwear but display nicely and are immaculately clean and ready to wear. The slip has about a 1/4 split in the fold of the skirt in the front and I have replaced the ties on the bonnet, but otherwise a lovely Sunday party outfit. Includes her pink satin 'ballet-style' party shoes in minty condition.
 
Then there is this darling pink snowsuit that I acquired along with Kathy, but I am unsure it is part of her original wardrobe. It is in mint, unplayed with condition -- bright, crisp and unfaded -- with original uncut ribbon tie on the bonnet. Darling pom-pom on her bonnet; there is a factory flaw (called a 'slub') in the fabric on one side of the bonnet that somehow escaped the "inspector's" eye, but seems not to be distracting.
 
Next is a pair of pink polka dot bloomers, which I believe is the bottom of a set and missing the top, but included here. Also, a white terry short robe for at the beach or afterbath that came with her.
 
An extra pair of original shoes are included, too.
 
What fun to be able to dress and play with little Kathy in all her clothes.
 
I will include a mint, tiny white diaper in her shipping box.

dressed in her original baby pink cotton romper and matching bonnet. The elastic in the sleeves and legs is slightly relaxed, but otherwise her outfit is clean and lovely. I have added a pair of 1950s white knit booties and a birdseye weave diaper to complete her outfit.
