1930s FAO Schwarz Magnetic Hands Effanbee Composition Patsy / Patricia in Red Gingham
Extremely rare all original 16" Patricia doll from the Effanbee Patsy Family collection of dolls.
What makes her so special:

- Blue side-glancing eyes (note please they do NOT have the heart-shaped iris)
- Still has original accessory carpet sweeper -- others will be added
This lovely young girl has the MAGIC of magnetic hands that allows her to hold any object with an attached metal clip or washer. Here I have her holding the CORRECT 48 Star American Flag ... something she is very proud of, especially these days. I will add the metal clip to the flag to allow her to hold it with her magnets prior to shipping.
Magnetic hands Patricia comes with her ORIGINAL carpet sweeper, and a replaced whisk broom, and jingle bell. You can add to her repetoire of accessories on your own with instructions for doing so easily that I will include in your box.
This doll is straight out of the WWI era when everyone pitched in to support the effort.
Patricia is doing her part... FAO Schwarz issued this RARE doll to support the times. Patricia is the 'older sister' version of the Patsy doll having a pre-teen developed figure with slender legs and arms... and a waist. She retains the original Patsy head with beautiful blue side-glancing eyes.
She is nearly MINT -- just about FLAWLESS with only very very light intermittent craze lines.
Her original Effanbee factory dress is vibrant, unfaded red gingham fabric; still crisp and lovely. She has her red oilcloth shoes with original ties and socks in mint condition. I have added an adorable red wool coat and beret to her outfit; but, please note that it is hand-stitched, and although it has lovely button/hook closure at the front, the coat is too small around to actually close... but, she looked too precious in it so she will come home with it.
She is appropriately marked on her back: "Effanbee / Patricia" and "Effanbee / Patsy" on the nape of her neck.
She has NO RESTORATION and no repaint. Her face has lovely high coloring against her beautiful auburn molded hair.
